In truth they are both the same personality it’s just that he adjusts to surroundings like any other person would. Naturally he is a quiet, snide man with a self important smirk and a silent overbearing personality. If you did not know better you would almost take it as a sort of snotty attitude that has no real backing. He doesn’t talk much but when he does you better listen. This steadily gives into what most people would consider his other personality. But really nothing changes. He is still quiet, well mannered, and purposeful, but with the addition of an unspeakable cruelty that most people would not be capable of. He holds people like Bellatrix in contempt because of their simple dissolving into madness. His is methodical, carefully cruel. Human life holds no real value to him and his support of the dark lord stems out of his wish to simply destroy this world. On some subconscious level he thinks that it’s time for the world to start over, as he’s sickened by most of the modern revolution in ideas on how things should be. Those who rebel should be punished in his eyes. He’s black and white in a twisted sort of way and isn’t above using any kind of method to destroy his target. However his ‘justice’ is given off in distain. In his mind everyone else is simply too stupid to realize what needs to be done, very few people are as intelligent as he is to see what the problem with the world is. He is flippant, sarcastic, and hard to control. While most who work for the Dark Lord follow that agenda, Tarquin has his own. Given that his actions are unpredictable. He does not fear being tortured by the Dark Lord, because following him is just a way to a better plan. The world must be cleaned, dissent eradicated. Strengths: Strong, Cunning, Fearless, Careful Weaknesses: Erratic, Cruel, Black and White view on everything. Sexuality: Straight. PB: Cillian Murphy Biography (three paragraphs minimum): Tarquin was born in the mid 50’s into a solid pureblood home that held all that purebloods held sacred. The ideas of purity and right and wrong were branded into him from a young age and when the rebellion of the sixties and seventies happened, Tarquin was one who stuck rigidly to the ways of old, holding the new generation, his generation, in disdain and seeing them as nothing but fools and corrupt things that were destroying the world that had been set in such a perfect order. Even as a small child he had a strong sense of what he felt was right and what he felt was wrong. Those who deviated could not be forgiven. They were tainted and that could not be changed. Those views were reinforced upon his entrance into Hogwarts. Placed into Slytherin almost immediately, the young McTavish found his place among his fellow purebloods. However he found that he did not like his place. The impurities of the new age had filtered in even here, among the purest of the pure. He isolated himself from his peers, focusing on his studies and simply what to make of this question. The only real activity he did was quidditch. He was a beater and known for breaking at least three arms throughout his years in school. Upon exiting Hogwarts he found that he really did not have a place in this world. Most purebloods his age would be set up for marriage rather quickly. But Tarquin had grander ideas, Ideas that did not include some simpleton wife that could barely hold a conversation let alone bear an heir appropriate. Instead he found himself attracted to the new movement that was starting up under the name of the Death Eaters. While he thought the name a bit dramatic, the policies certainly attracted him. His rank within the Death Eaters became something that was a bit contested. It was true that he was efficient and fantastically brutal in the execution of his orders it was also true that he would not always do things exactly as was ordered. He would out rightly argue with those superior to him, but more often than not was right. More than once he suffered under the Dark Lord’s wrath but he never seemed to care. Torture carried little meaning to him. Currently he stands at a strange place. He is trusted, highly; however there is always some element of suspicion. Not that he would turn them in to the ministry, but more that he may just form his own organization. | |||||||||
